We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. That standard covers how content is perceived, operated, and understood, and whether it works with assistive technology. Accessibility is part of how we build pages, not a one-time check.

## What accessibility features does the site include?

The site is built with:

- Semantic headings and page landmarks for screen reader navigation
- Menus, dropdowns, forms, and the cookie settings panel that work with a keyboard
- Visible focus indicators
- Text and background colors chosen for readable contrast
- Labeled form fields with clear error messages
- Light and dark themes, following your system setting by default
- Respect for your reduced-motion setting
- Tap targets sized for touch screens
- Pages that reflow at small screen widths without sideways scrolling

## What are the known limitations?

We know about these limits and are working on them:

- **Photo placeholders:** the site does not have real shop photos yet. Boxes labeled with a short description stand in for them. They carry no information you need to use the site.
- **Embedded map:** the Google map is a third-party feature and may not work well with every assistive technology. The address, 1775 W Foothill Blvd, Upland, CA 91786, is always shown as text, and our [hours and directions page](https://goodyearelitetireupland.com/contact/hours-directions/) describes the route.
- **Third-party tags:** optional analytics and advertising tags are provided by other companies. We do not control their code.

### Can I book service without using the website?

Yes. Call (909) 608-7699 during business hours, Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, to book service, ask for a quote, or reserve a U-Haul. You can also email hello@goodyearelitetireupland.com.

### Why do some pages show boxes instead of photos?

Real shop photos are not available yet, so labeled placeholder boxes describe the photo that will go there. They do not hold any information you need, and screen readers can skip them.
