Goodyear Elite Tire Upland is a tire and auto repair shop at 1775 W Foothill Blvd in Upland, CA that also rents U-Haul trucks and trailers. We inspect first, show you photos, write the number down, and wait for your yes. Safety items are marked as needs. Everything else is marked as can wait.

Who is Goodyear Elite Tire Upland?

We are a neighborhood shop on West Foothill Blvd that handles three jobs most drivers usually split across town: tires, mechanical repair, and moving equipment. You can buy and mount tires, get the brakes checked, and pick up a U-Haul truck or trailer on the same lot.

The shop serves daily drivers, families, commuters, truck owners, trades and small fleets from Upland and the cities around it in San Bernardino County and Los Angeles County.

What we work on

  • Tires: new tires, mounting and balancing, flat repair, rotation, TPMS and wheel alignment.
  • Repairs: oil changes, brakes, batteries, AC, check engine diagnostics, suspension, cooling, belts and hoses, and more on the services page.
  • Rentals: U-Haul moving trucks, cargo vans, cargo and utility trailers, tow dollies and auto transports. See U-Haul rentals.

What do we promise every customer?

Our promise is simple and it is written down: you see the problem, you read the number, and you decide. No work starts without your approval, and no extra work gets added without a second approval. The invoice you pay should match the estimate you said yes to.

Most people who call a repair shop carry two worries. The first is getting stranded on the I-10 or on a hot afternoon on Foothill. The second is getting overcharged by a shop that finds ten things once the car is on the lift. We built the way we work around both of those worries.

The four parts of the promise

  1. Written estimate before work. Parts, labor and any fees are listed before a wrench turns.
  2. Photos before extras. If we find something beyond what you came in for, you see it first.
  3. Need versus want. Each item is labeled as a safety need or something that can wait. Read more on our need versus want promise.
  4. Invoice matches the estimate. If something changes during the job, we call you before the number changes.

Repair customers in California can also find consumer information from the Bureau of Automotive Repair (opens in a new tab).

How does a visit to the shop work?

A visit follows the same steps every time, so you always know where your car is in the process. We greet you, listen to the problem in your words, inspect, take photos, write the estimate, get your approval, do the work, road test when the job calls for it, and walk you through what we did.

That order matters. A diagnosis comes before a parts list. A photo comes before a recommendation. A road test comes before we hand back the keys on brakes, alignment and anything that affects how the car drives.

StepWhat you get
GreetYour concern written down in your words, and a time window
InspectA check of the concern plus the basics that affect safety

What changed on this lot, and what did not?

The name on the sign changed. This lot was formerly Route 66 Auto Repair, and it now operates as Goodyear Elite Tire Upland. The address is the same, the phone number is the same, and the lot still rents U-Haul equipment.

What changed

  • One business name on the sign, the invoices and this website.
  • A clearer written process: photos, need versus want, and an estimate you approve.

What did not change

  • The address: 1775 W Foothill Blvd, Upland, CA 91786.
  • The phone: (909) 608-7699.
  • U-Haul rentals on the same lot.

If you are trying to confirm you found the right place, the full explanation is on the name change page.

Why put tires, repairs and U-Haul on one lot?

Because real errands overlap. A family moving across town needs a truck, and the minivan that tows the trailer needs a tire and a hitch check. A contractor needs brakes on the work truck and a utility trailer for the weekend. One stop saves a second trip and a second wait.

A tire-only chain can mount tires, but it may send you elsewhere for a coolant leak. A repair shop may not stock tires. A rental counter will not look at your brakes. We do all three here, and we tell you plainly which job to do first.

Common combined visits

  • Tires and an alignment before a long drive, with a tire and alignment package.
  • A hitch check and a cargo trailer on the same morning.
  • An oil change and a battery test before a summer road trip.
  • A pre-purchase inspection on a used truck, then a tow dolly to bring it home.

Who do we serve?

We serve everyday drivers first, and we build the visit around what each kind of driver worries about. Parents want brakes and tires they can trust with kids in the back. First-time owners want someone to explain need versus want without talking down. Trades want the truck back fast.

We also see commuters who put heavy miles on the I-10 and SR-210, owners of pickups and SUVs that tow, diesel owners, hybrid and EV owners who need tires and brakes, small businesses with a few company vehicles, and people who picked the wrong truck size last time they moved.

Each group has its own page under customer types, and each nearby city has its own page under areas we serve.

Where is the shop and when is it open?

The shop sits at 1775 W Foothill Blvd, Upland, CA 91786, on the west side of Upland. Foothill Blvd connects Upland with Claremont and La Verne to the west and Rancho Cucamonga to the east, and the I-10 and SR-210 are both a short drive from the lot.

Hours

  • Monday to Friday: 8 AM to 5 PM
  • Saturday: call (909) 608-7699 to confirm
  • Sunday: closed

For turn-by-turn help, open the hours and directions page and put the street address into your map app.

How do you get started?

The easiest start is a phone call to (909) 608-7699 or a request through the booking form. Tell us the vehicle, the problem in your own words, and when you can drop it off or wait. We call or text to confirm a time. Booking is a request, not a locked slot, so we confirm before you drive over.

If you want a number before you commit, send a quote request. Some jobs can be estimated from the vehicle and the symptom. Others need an inspection first, and we will say so.

For U-Haul, reservations are by phone only. Call (909) 608-7699 to reserve.

What will you not find on this website?

You will not find invented reviews, borrowed star ratings, made-up prices, or warranty lengths that do not match your paperwork. When a fact is not confirmed yet, like Saturday hours or team names, we say "call to confirm" or leave it out.

Why we keep it that strict

  • Prices change with the vehicle. A brake job on a compact car and one on a heavy pickup are different jobs, so the number belongs on your written estimate.
  • Reviews should be earned. Ratings from before the name change describe visits under the old name, so we do not display them here.
  • Photos should be real. The labeled boxes on these pages mark where real shop photos will go.

If something on this site does not match what you see at the counter, tell us. We would rather correct the page than leave you guessing.

Frequently asked questions

Is Goodyear Elite Tire Upland a tire shop or a repair shop?

Both. We sell and install tires, do alignments and flat repairs, and handle mechanical work like brakes, oil changes, batteries, AC and diagnostics. The same lot is also a U-Haul Neighborhood Dealer, so you can rent a truck or trailer during the same visit.

Do you give a written estimate before starting work?

Yes. Every job starts with a written estimate that lists parts, labor and any fees. We do not start until you approve it. If we find something else during the job, we send photos and a new number and wait for a second approval.

Is the phone number the same as before the name change?

Yes. The shop phone is (909) 608-7699. It is the only number for repairs, tires and U-Haul reservations. If you see a different number listed for this address somewhere online, call the number on this website.

Can I rent a U-Haul and get my car serviced on the same trip?

Yes. Many customers pair a tire or brake visit with a truck or trailer rental. Call (909) 608-7699 to reserve the rental and book the service, and tell us both jobs so we can plan the timing for you.

Are you open on Saturday?

Weekday hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, and Sunday is closed. Saturday hours are being finalized, so please call (909) 608-7699 to confirm before you drive over on a Saturday.
