Prices discussed by phone, email, or through website tools are estimates based on limited information. The binding figure is the written estimate you approve after we inspect your vehicle. If the job needs more work or cost than approved, we contact you first. Nothing is added to your bill without your approval.
What kinds of price information might you get?
| Source | What it is based on | How firm it is |
|---|---|---|
| Phone or email quote | What you tell us about the vehicle | A starting point |
| Quote request form | Your vehicle details and tire size | A starting point |
| Website calculators | General data, not your vehicle | Guidance only |
| Written estimate | Our inspection of your vehicle | The number you approve |
What can change a price after a quote?
A quote made without seeing the car can change once we inspect it. Common reasons:
- The tire size or model differs from what was described
- Worn parts found next to the ones you asked about, such as rotors along with brake pads
- Seized, rusted, or broken hardware
- Part prices or availability changing before the job
- A problem with more than one cause, found during diagnosis
When that happens, we explain the change and give you a written estimate before any work.
What happens if more work is needed mid-job?
We stop and contact you. You hear what we found, why it matters, and what it costs, often with photos. We separate what needs attention now from what can wait, as described in our need versus want promise. You decide. If you say no, we finish only the work you approved.
What about taxes, fees, and U-Haul rates?
Applicable taxes and fees appear on your written estimate and invoice. U-Haul rental rates and fees are set under U-Haul's rental terms and are given when you reserve by phone at (909) 608-7699. The site does not publish rental prices. See the disclosures page for other limits.
