At Goodyear Elite Tire Upland, pricing starts with a written estimate before any work. Parts and labor are listed separately, any diagnostic fee is said up front, and optional work is labeled apart from required work. Price ranges are not posted yet. To get a number for your car, request a quote or call (909) 608-7699.
Why does the written estimate come first?
Because a repair price should never be a surprise at pickup. Before any wrench turns, you get a written estimate for the work, and nothing starts until you approve it by signature or text. If the technician finds something else once the car is apart, we stop and contact you with a revised estimate. Work you did not approve is not done and not billed.
The estimate disclaimer explains the legal fine print in plain terms.
What is on the estimate?
Every estimate breaks the job into lines you can read and question. Parts and labor are separate, so you see what each costs. Any shop supplies or taxes are listed. Bundles show the bundle price. And every line is marked either required or optional, so you know which work keeps the car safe and which can be scheduled later.
| Line | What it means |
|---|---|
| Parts | The parts for the job, named on the line |
| Labor | The work to install or repair |
| Diagnostic fee | The cost to find a problem, said before the scan |
| Required | Needed for safety or to fix your complaint |
| Optional | Recommended, can wait, your call |
Warranty terms for parts and labor are written on your estimate. Ask the advisor to point them out.
How does the diagnostic fee work?
When a problem needs testing to find, such as a check engine light or an electrical fault, there is a diagnostic fee. We tell you that before the scan starts, and it is written on the estimate as its own line. The fee pays for the time to find the cause. After diagnosis, you get a separate estimate for the repair and decide whether to go ahead.
The amount is set by the shop and given at the desk. We do not let it appear on an invoice without being said out loud first.
Why aren't price ranges posted yet?
Price ranges will be posted only after the service advisor signs them off against real parts and labor for common vehicles. Until then, a range online would be a guess, and a guess sets the wrong expectation. When ranges are ready, they will appear here and in the service cost range estimator. Until then, the quote for your vehicle is the real number.
How do you request a quote?
Use the request a quote form or call (909) 608-7699. Have your year, make, model, and mileage ready, plus a description of the problem in your own words. For tires, the size printed on the sidewall helps. Some jobs can be quoted by phone; others need an inspection first, and we will tell you which.
